Some exam providers are nowadays focused on certifications which merely paraphrase their marketing views and purposes and provide no real added value to your resume. The CADP exam is no such thing. A carefully crafted training helps you learn and think about your current security practices and how they should evolve. The exam session is no recitation by heart of some product listing, but a true assessment of how your security posture and vision have evolved thanks to the training. A must for every serious security professional who is no longer happy with the other certifications and wants to stay ahead, particularly when (re)designing security architectures, or when explaining to managers the benefits of this approach. Although based on NIST materials and definitions, this was also useful for me as a European IT Professional as security concepts and concerns have no border.
